Those leaders who work effectively with emotions inspire greater respect, motivation and willingness of others to respond to their leadership and change.

Objectives: On completion of training, participants will:
- Be able to identify the applicability of EQ to leadership, the workplace
and life
- Recognise the relationships between beliefs, emotions and behaviours
- Have acquired techniques to lessen the impact of 'negative' beliefs
and emotions
- Identify the importance of owning their own power, and ways to enhance
their power
- know the key ingredients of body language, cultural differences and
how to respond to different non-verbal messages
- Understand how better to value and work effectively with personality differences
- Be able to demonstrate empathy and assertiveness in communications with others
- Ways to manage conflict so that win-win outcomes are more likely
